Talking to media here, the Home Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram said that though the Governor’s report was rejected by the Centre, his Ministry will issue an advisory to the Karnataka government to take remedial action on certain issues highlighted by Mr. Bharadwaj.

He said issues like corruption, illegal mining, complaints by Lokayukta and instances of oppression of minorities do not fall under good governance and the State Government must take corrective action.
