Central government’s Interlocutor R N Ravi held consultative meetings of GPRN/NSCN (KK) and Singnya-led NNC/FGN separately, at Chumukedima Police Complex near Dimapur in Kohima. The purpose of the meeting was to get all stakeholders on board for a broad-based agreement within the concept of the Framework Agreement signed between the Central government’s Interlocutor and the NSCN (I-M) leadership .

Briefing media on the talks in Kohima today, Mr Ravi said the meeting yesterday with both the groups was very positive during which the Naga Political Groups (NPGs) had made their stated positions. Mr Ravi expressed optimism about getting others on board. He said he advised all the groups to be part of the peace process and explained to the Naga Political Groups (undergrounds) about the ongoing process since he believed that the Naga issue can be comprehensively resolved if it was inclusive.
