CBI has filed a supplementary chargesheet against underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and RM Dhariwal, owner of Manikchand Gutkha for allegedly supplying tobacco to Dubai. The chargesheet was filed in Mumbai Court. Dhariwal allegedly supplied gutkha to Dubai with the help of Dawood, where it is banned.
Manikchand Gutkha is the leading tobacco maker of the country. Pune based Manikchand Group is a parent company which has many other companies under its umbrella.
Dawood Ibrahim, one of India’s most wanted fugitives, is accused of plotting the 1993 serial blasts in Mumbai. He is also accused of masterminding other terror attacks, and is accused of money laundering and extortion.
