Cabinet Secretary Pradeep Kumar Sinha has been given further three months extensions. The appointments committee of the Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the extension beyond 12th of this month until further orders.
In May 2015, Mr Sinha was appointed as cabinet secretary for a fixed two-year term. This is the third time that Mr Sinha’s tenure has been extended.
