British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Sunday criticised US President Donald Trump for his statement in which he has said the prime minister’s deal with European Union would prevent a future Britain-US trade agreement.

Speaking to Sky News, Mr Johnson said that he doesn’t wish to cast any aspersions on the president but in that respect, he is patently in error.

Boris Johnson claimed that anybody who looks at it can see it is a great deal as it allows Britain to have full unfettered control of its tariff schedule.

Mr Johnson also apologised for not taking Britain out of EU by October 31, saying he was deeply disappointed.
