The BJP is undertaking a padyatra in Jorhat district of Assam. Union minister and state BJP President Sarbanand Sonowal along with several MPs are participating in the 30 kilometre walk from Rajabahar to Rajbongshi sports complex at Titabor.
Titabor is the assembly constituency of Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Tarun Gogoi. The BJP has planned more padyatras to connect with masses in coming days ahead of assembly polls. Assam assembly polls will be held this year.The state has 126 assembly constituencies.
