BJP has decided to launch a counter-offensive against the opposition’s disinformation campaign on the controversial land bill. The political resolution, adopted on the concluding day of National Executive meeting in Bengaluru yesterday, singled out Congress for its opposition to the land bill.
The resolution said, Congress did not make any good change in the 120-year-old law to favour farmers and common man.
It said, in 1984, Congress brought changes to favour the private players. The BJP said, Congress is opposing this progressive law, which has better provisions for social security, only for mere political posturing and creating confusion among people.
