The BJP today released the third list of 11 candidates for Assembly elections in Bihar. Prominent in the list include senior party leader Satyender Singh who will contest from Mohiuddinnagar Assembly seat and Phoola Devi Yadav from Govindpur seat. The names of the candidates were announced by BJP leader J P Nadda in New Delhi after the party Central Election Committee finalised the list.

AIR correspondent reports that with this, the party has announced the names of candidates for 153 seats so far. The party is contesting elections on 160 seats in the State leaving rest of seats for its allies, Lok Janshakti Party, Rashtriya Lok Samta Party and Hindustani Awam Morcha. The election to 243 Assembly seat will be held in five phases beginning 12th of next month.

Hindustani Awam Morcha( HAM) President and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi will contest Assembly Election from both Makhdumpur and Imamganj constituencies in Bihar. Party spokesperson Danis Rizwan said Mr. Manjhi will contest against Bihar assembly speaker and Senior JD(U) leader Udai Narayan Chaudhury from Imamganj constituency.

Hindustani Awam Morcha ( HAM) today released the second and final list of seven candidates. With this, the party has announced the names of all its candidates. Earlier in the first list the party had announced the names of 13 candidates.

Lok Janshakti State Party President of Bihar Pasupati Kumar Paras today dissolved the state Unit of Dalit Sena. Earlier LJP president Ram Vilas Paswan’s son-in- law Anil Kumar Sadhu who was state president of Dalti Sena, raised revolt in the party following denial of ticket. He said the Dalit Sena will field its candidates on all 243 seats. In another incident, LJP expelled senior leader and former MLA Nagina Devi from the party following anti party activities.
