Continuing to target its ruling ally BJP, Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme saying BJP needs to understand what is in people’s mind.
Addressing an election rally in Kalyan Tuesday, Thackeray also said that smart cities being projected by BJP is nothing but an empty promise.
He alleged BJP had done nothing for Kalyan Dombivili towns and claimed it was Sena that has done a lot for these towns.
Shiv Sena and BJP are contesting the Kalyan-Dombivli municipal elections separately. Voting for Kalyan-Dombivili in Thane district will take place on the 1st of next month.
