BJP has clarified that party president Amit Shah never said that people should leave politics after 60 years of age. In a statement, party said, Mr Shah’s comments have been distorted and quoted out of context by the media.
BJP came out with the clarification after reports quoted Mr Shah as having stated at a function in Chitrakoot that leaders over 60 years of age must quit politics. The statement said, the BJP President never said like this in his address.
