BJP hit out at the opposition in connection with the Hindenburg Report. Talking to media on Sunday, BJP Spokesperson Sudhnashu Trivedi said that for the past few years, whenever the Parliament session commences, a foreign report gets released. Questioning the timing of this reports, Mr Trivedi accused the opposition of creating economic chaos in the country through confusion whether the matter is related to the Government company or private company.
In a social media post, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge demanded a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the allegations of the US-based short-seller Hindenburg Research against SEBI Chief. He said, the small and medium investors belonging to the Middle Class who invest their hard-earned money in the stock market need to be protected, as they believe in the SEBI.
