New Delhi:
On a day new Congress chief Rahul Gandhi in his maiden speech made a vitriolic charge against BJP accusing it of setting the nation on ‘fire’, the saffron party described country’s oldest party as one sustaining “corrupt thought process”
“It was an irony that the (special CBI) court sentenced former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda to jail the same day when the Congress got a new president,” BJP spokesman Sambit Patra told reporters here.
“This jail sentence is not only for Madhu Koda but also for the Congress, which had supported him,” he said in reference to the court verdict on coal block allocation scam that had surfaced during UPA regime.
