BJP has demanded sacking of Congress leader Sam Pitroda over his alleged objectionable remarks on 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Talking to reporters, party spokesperson Sambit Patra came down heavily on Congress over the issue saying Mr Pitroda’s remarks are like rubbing salt on the wounds of the riot victims.

He claimed that no justice was done after 34 years of the unfortunate incidents during Congress regime and it is the NDA government which formed SIT on it and culprits like Sajjan Kumar were sent to jail. Mr Patra also sought an apology from Congress President Rahul Gandhi and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi over the issue.
