Mukhtar-Abbas-Naqvi 2The BJP Parliamentary Party today criticized the Congress for disrupting the proceedings in both the houses. It adopted a resolution condemning the behaviour of the Congress in Parliament. Talking to media after the meeting, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, Congress’ disruptive attitude shows frustration and the party is not able to digest Prime Minister’s popularity in country’s development. Mr Naqvi said, the government will continue to do its work without bothering about the negative politics by the opposition. The Minister also ruled out resignations of the BJP leaders including External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. He charged the Congress with misleading the people of the country on the issue saying the opposition has no other issue to raise.

Justifying the suspension of 25 Congress members from the Lok Sabha, Mr Naqvi said, the Speaker had warned the members against displaying placards in the House. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister, Union ministers and BJP leaders.
