Bihar government has decided to provide Seven hundred and Fifty four crore rupees for flood relief work in the state. The decision was taken in the meeting of state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
The Chief Minister said, the amount will be given to buy food grains and utensils. Mr. Kumar said, financial assistance will also be given to those families whose houses were damaged in devastating floods. He said, assessment of damaged crops will be done after flood fury.
