He said that Urdu was not a language of a particular society of a religion; rather it was a language of composite culture and the new generation should learn the language.
“Everyone should learn Urdu as it is most sweet and beautiful language of the country”, the chief minister said while releasing the book ‘Ale Ahmed Suroor ki Adabi Khidmat’, which is the PhD thesis of JD(U) MLA Dr. Izhar Ahmad. dr Ahmad is also editor of an Urdu daily.
CM also said that Urdu and Hindi are twin sisters. He asked Hindi knowing people to learn Urdu as it makes Hindi more effective. He also said that the state government was committed for upliftement of Muslims and several scheme was already going on in the direction.
CM also honoured several Urdu journalists for their contribution in the field of Urdu journalism.
