Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Monday filed charge sheet against 32 persons in Intermediate Merit scam in a special court of Patna. It includes kingpin of merit scam Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh and his wife Usha Sinha.
Lalkeshwar was a former chairman of Bihar School Examination Board and Usha Sinha was former JD ( U) MLA. Besides 20 government officials the Charge sheet was also filled against three toppers Ruby Roy, Rahul and Saurabh Shrestra. An FIR was lodged in Patna Kotwali police station on 6th June this year after surfacing merit scam.
