Corona is increasing rapidly across Bihar. Positive cases mounted to 79,720 with reporting 3934 new cases. 51,315 patients have been discharged from hospitals after treatment while 27,975 are undergoing treatment.429 people died due to Corona.
Recovery rate stands at over 64 percent.Patna recorded the maximum positive cases of 13 thousand 488 followed by 3,450 in Bhagalpur and 3,362 in Muzaffarpur.
According to Indian Medical Association, Covid-19 related deaths among doctors is more in Bihar compared to the national average.19 doctors have so far died due to Corona. In view of spike in the cases of Covid-19 the East Central Railway has already placed three hundred Covid care coaches at 15 railway stations including Patna,Darbhanga, Sitamarhi and Samastipur railway stations.
The civil surgeon of each district has been asked to use these in case of an emergency. Each coach is equipped with oxygen ,cylinders and other facilities.
