PATNA: THE Bihar government on Tuesday approved Rs 80 crore grants for the salary of the teachers and non-teaching employees.  According to principal cabinet secretary Afzal Amanullah,1,119 madrasas for boys and nine madrasas for girls would get this amount for year 2010-11. The government would release Rs 20 crore with immediate effect for three months salary and the  remaining for the nine months grant will be released only after receipt of the utilization certificate of grant released in 2009-10.

Amanullah also said that in Maulana Mazharul Haq Arabic and Per-sian University, administrative and academic posts creation has been approved by the cabinet. It includes one post of VC, pro VC, financial advisor, registrar, college inspector, finance officer, controller of examination, budget and accounts officer, university engineer and assistant engineer. Also, two post of professor, 10 readers and 30 lecturers have also been created.
