PATNA: The Muslims of Bihar might not have got a chief minister from the community for a long time, but they are all set to get an equally responsible post in the 243 members Bihar legislative assembly soon. The responsibility of the leader of opposition would go to the state Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Abdul Bari Siddiqui.

Siddiqui was unanimously elected leader of the RJD legislature party on Sunday in the presence of RJD supreme Lalu Prasad 

Bari won from the Alamnagar assembly constituency in the just-concluded assembly polls. The defeat of Rabri Devi from both the seat has made Bari task easy. He is also considered close to Lalu Prasad. The RJD won 22 seats and its ally Lok Janshakti Party won 3 seats. These two parties make biggest opposition group in the assembly

The ruling Janata Dal-United won 115 seats and its alliance partner Bharatiya Janata Party won 91 seats in house.

Meanwhile RJD chief Lalu Prasad Sunday has said that the party would review its rout in the Bihar assembly polls. Talking to media persons he said that the RJD would review its rout at a meeting of party workers and leaders here this week

He said that RJD will come out with cause of its worst rout in one and half decades. "Lets wait and watch, RJD will review it and share with media," he said.
