Bahrain has accused Qatar of creating a military escalation in a dispute with Gulf countries. In a twitter message, Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed al-Khalifa said Qatar is creating a military escalation by allowing foreign armies and their armored vehicles on its territory.
He said the foundation of the dispute with Qatar is diplomatic and security-oriented, but never military.
Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain are among several countries which announced on the 5th of this month that they were suspending all ties with Qatar, accusing it of support for extremist groups — a claim Doha denies.
