An Army major and three jawans were killed in Pakistani firing in Keri sector along the Line of Control in Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir Saturday. Another jawan was also injured.
Defence sources told media that that forces from across the Line of Control resorted to unprovoked firing targetting the army personnel on patrol in the area this afternoon.
Major Moharkar Prafulla Ambadas and three jawans were injured in the attack seriously who later succumbed to injuries. Troops guarding the borderline retaliated the fire effectively and the exchange of fire continued till this evening.
