Five terrorists were killed after army foiled an infiltration bid in Tangdar sector of Kupwara district early Saturday. Defence spokesman told media that a group of armed infiltrators was detected by the counter-infiltration grid at Line of Control.
He said, the group was challenged by the army personnel triggering gunfight. During the encounter, these terrorists were killed.
Security sources said, huge cache of arms & ammunition was recovered from the killed terrorists. They said, the sanitization operation is going on in the area.
