On the occasion of 67th Republic Day, Indian Army and BSF today exchanged sweets and greetings with their Pakistani and Chinese counterparts. According to Defence sources, the BSF troops met with Pakistani Rangers at some border posts along the International Border in Jammu region and exchanged sweets and greetings today.

Similarly, the troops of Indian and Pakistan armies exchanged sweets at Rawalakot and Hot Spring Crossing Points in Krishna Ghati Sector along the Line of Control in Poonch. Besides this the troops of Indian Army and Chinese People’s Liberation Army held meetings at Chushul-Moldo and DBO-TWD meeting points along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh and exchanged greetings.

At the Attari-Wagah joint check-post, Border Security Force offered sweets to Pakistan Rangers to mark the 67th Republic day today. BSF DIG, Amritsar sector, Sumer Singh handed over the sweets to the Wing Commander, Pak Rangers. Defence personnel from both the sides shook hands and exchanged several platters of sweets as they posed for pictures as well.
