Andhra Pradesh has on Friday reported 62 new Covid-19 positive cases, taking the total tally to 2514. The state has recorded patient recovery rate of 70 per cent with 51 discharges last 24 hours.
According to a media health bulletin released by State Command Control Room of COVID-19, as of today, there were 728 active COVID-19 cases in the state and the number of recovered cases stands at 1,731 in total. The death toll remains at 55 with a new death case in Krishna district.
The State Government has said that cases among migrants were being mentioned separately as they were not residents of Andhra Pradesh where as many as more than 150 cases reported. Meanwhile, the government is evacuating the migrants to their native districts through special services. APSRTC Buses have been plying in the state from yesterday.
