Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday to review the security situation of the region and interact with security personnel.
During his 3-day visit, Mr Shah will be meeting BJP MLAs in Jammu besides chairing two crucial separate security review meetings of Unified Headquarters and the annual pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath Yatra. Discussions are expected to focus on counter-terrorism operations, cross-border infiltration attempts and the overall security landscape in J&K. Meanwhile, he will also virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several multi-crore projects from Srinagar aimed at benefiting the people of J&K.
