BJP President Amit Shah today said an unprecedented strategic and diplomatic success has been achieved during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s five-nation tour. He said a prosperous and strong India under Mr. Modi’s leadership is making its presence felt across the world.
Referring to the US support to India’s bid to enter Missile Technology Control Regime and Nuclear Suppliers Group, Mr. Shah said it will pave the way for the country to become an important arms exporter.
In a statement, the BJP President said, the countries like the US, Mexico and Switzerland are supporting India’s bid to enter the NSG due to the Prime Minister’s diplomatic skills. He added, the US support to India underlines a new chapter in the friendship between the two countries.
Mr. Shah said, the Prime Minister’s call to isolate the countries sponsoring terrorism is also receiving support across the world. Hailing Mr. Modi’s leadership, he said the despondency prevalent two years ago, a reference to the UPA government, has been replaced by enthusiasm.
