FOUR 4 policemen were today killed and seven injured in a Taliban attack in Ghazni province. Spokesman for the Provincial Governor Arif Noori said, the attack took place when the insurgents targeted a security post belonging to the local police force in Jaghatu district.
He said, the gun battle lasted for several hours. There was no immediate claim of responsibility of the attack by any group.
The attack came following a suicide bombing by the Islamic State terror group at a voter registration center in Kabul on Sunday, that killed 57 people.
It also came following the attacks by Taliban in western Afghanistan that claimed the lives of 18 soldiers and policemen yesterday.
