The RSS today welcomed the Supreme Court judgement declaring the triple talaq as unconstitutional, saying that it had come as a great relief to crores of Muslim women.
RSS leader Indresh Kumar said here Muslim women of the country had long been been subjected to injustice because of the age-old practice which had no religious sanctity.
“The apex court verdict has restored the honour of these women and taken a big step towards empowerment,’’ Mr Kumar said.
