One BSF jawan was killed as Pakistan’s forces resorted to heavy mortar shelling and firing in Arnia sector along the International Border in Jammu district today.
Pakistan Rangers started unprovoked firing and shelling on Indian positions and civilian areas in Arnia sector around 1 am today.
In the firing, Constable Bijender Bahadur hailing from Uttar Pradesh, who was deployed at a forward post was injured seriously. The jawan succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital. BSF troops guarding the border, retaliated the firing and gave a befitting reply while on civilian was also injured.
