In Jammu and Kashmir, three militants were killed by the security forces in an encounter in Anantnag district of south Kashmir yesterday.
Defence spokesman told media that the encounter broke out at around 8 pm at Wanihama village of Anantnag district, following an anti-militancy operation launched by the security forces.He said three militants were killed in the ensuing gunbattle. Two among three killed are believed to be locals and third one a Pakistani.
