In the wake of prevailing law and order situation in Kashmir Valley, the ongoing Shri Amarnath pilgrimage was today suspended from the Jammu base camp.
According to AIR, due to the prevailing security scenario in the Kashmir Valley, no fresh batch of Shri Amarnath Pilgrims has been allowed to proceed from the Bhagwati Nagar Yatra base camp this morning.
The initiative has been taken as a precationery measure to avoid any trouble to the pilgrims.
