Over 13 thousand people are affected due to flood and landslides in Kamrup Metro, Darrang, Lakhimpur and Hailakandi districts in Assam, . State Disaster Response Force evacuated 500 people in Guwahati city. Four persons have died in rain related incidents in Guwahati.
District administration has set up one relief camp at Rajgarh in Guwahati for 130 people and relief materials are also being distributed. Landslides have also been reported in Guwahati. There was also breach of river embankments in a few places in the state.
