The Border Security Force (BSF) has said, yesterday’s attack on Indian troops from across the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir was well planned and coordinated by the Pakistani forces.
Talking to media persons in Jammu today, Additional Director General, BSF Western Command KN Choubey said, the firing at the troops from the four sides across the LoC and two ambushes accompanied by the Border Action Team’s attack simultaneously’ makes it clear that the attack was well planned and coordinated.
He said, taking advantage of the fire, the Border Action Teams consisting of Regular Pakistani Army, and specially-trained terrorists sneaked into the Indian side and mutilated the bodies of two martyred soldiers.
Mr Choubey said, the Indian Army and BSF will take all possible measures so that such attacks could not take place in future. He said, BSF, deployed along the LoC under the supervision of the Indian Army, has been combating the infiltration attempts very effectively.
