Two security personnel were killed and another injured in an encounter with Maoists in Bijapur district of Bastar region, Chhattisgarh,today.
Maoists ambushed the team of security personnel when they were conducting a search operation in Mirtur area.
Exchange of fire took place in the forest of Cherli. Superintendent of police of Bijapur district K.L. Dhruv confirmed the incident.
