India says it remains engaged with Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) members on its membership in the elite group. Replying to a media query, MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup said, conversations have been continuing after NSG plenary in Seoul.

He said, India has lodged its application and now it is for the NSG members to consider it and take a decision. He said, on 31st of last month, India and China held second round of discussions on NSG issue in Beijing and had substantive and constructive talks.

On reported Chinese Army incursion in Demchok area of Leh district, the spokesman said, he is not aware of any such incident. He, however, said there are certain established dialogue mechanism between the two countries and because of the mechanisms, no major incident has happened on border with China in the recent past.
