Home Minister Rajnath Singh says, terrorism in India is sponsored by Pakistan; Making a statement in Lok Sabha on Kashmir issue, Home Minister said that the issue of Kashmir needs to be dealt with collectively and everyone needs to take up the responsibility to make the situation better.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today lashed out at Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism in India.

Making a statement in Lok Sabha on Kashmir situation today, Home Minister minced no words and said that its Pakistan that is sponsoring terrorism in India.

He also said that it is the collective responsibility of all to deal with the Kashmir issue. He said that everyone has to own up the responsibility to make the situation better in the valley.

He said, the Pakistan instead of fixing its internal matters is trying to destabilize India. He took strong exception for observing Black Day in Pakistan after the killing of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani.He said, the terrorist was involved in as many as various heinous crimes and activities.

Mr Singh sought support of all members to make united efforts to restore peace in Kashmir.He expressed hope the government will succeed in improving the situation with their supports.

Expressing deep pain over the loss of lives in the violence, Mr Singh informed that 38 civilians lost their lives and one security personnel died while several other injured in the clashes which followed after Wani’s death.

Brushing aside the opposition allegation that Prime Minster Narendra Modi was on foreign shores, Mr Singh said the Prime Minister was in constant touch with him and giving valuable suggestions to tackle the situation.

He said an expert committee will be constituted to study use of other non lethal weapon in lieu of pellet gun. Mr Singh said the committee will submit its report within two months.

Mr Rajnath Singh also informed the Lok Sabha that the situation in the Kashmir valley steadily returning to the normalcy.He said, essential commodities are being supplied in the curfew clamped areas. He also informed that the ban which has been imposed on internet has been lifted.
