Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked BJP MPs to work hard and study to raise the level of debate in Parliament. He was addressing the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting in New Delhi today.
Mr. Modi termed the Vikas Parva programmes organized on the completion of two years of NDA government as a success saying due to development oriented initiatives, people responded to programmes across the country enthusiastically.
Briefing media, Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu said, during the meeting, a discussion was held about the celebration of Independence Day on 15th of next month.
He said, the government has worked out programmes to be organized on the day and it will be given final touch after the consultation with BJP President Amit Shah and others. On the occasion, the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj informed the MPs about Prime Minister’s recent foreign visits. They were also briefed about the recent celebrations of International Day of Yoga and anti- emergency day.
