The United States has said it views India as a vital partner in the region and the relationship between the two countries is of incredible significance to the world. US State Department Deputy Spokesman Mark Toner said this days ahead of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Washington. He said that United States is very much looking forward to Prime Minister Modi’s visit. Toner said that the breadth of the US-Indian relationship is wide and it addresses security.

He added that the United States is looking to build closer relationships across the board with India. Mr Modi is scheduled to arrive in Washington on June 6 on a three-day visit.
