Government today said the issue of reported leak of mathematics paper of class 12th exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Examination on Monday deserves an enquiry. Responding to members’ concern about the matter in the Lok Sabha, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said the matter will be looked into by the Human Resource Development Ministry and action will be taken in this regard.
The issue was raised by several members during zero hour demanding cancellation of the exam. N K Premachandaran of RSP said, at one side the question paper of the exam was reported to be leaked in the northern region and on the other the students belonging to Southern region found it very difficult to solve the question paper of mathematics. Congress members Mallikarjun Kharge and K C Venugopal also expressed concern over the issue. Ramesh Bidhuri of BJP also demanded an inquiry into the matter.
