Referring to the audio clip which had got viral yesterday in which political advisor, Professor Virender is heard advising a captain (name unconfirmed but purportedly the spokesperson of the Dalal Khap Chaurasi) to stir up trouble in Sirsa, he said it would be thoroughly investigated. If the involvement of any person belonging to any political party or organization is found, he would not be spared.

He said that the persons who had damaged property during the agitation would be identified and strict action would be taken against them. Notably, on this issue Haryana Congress President Ashok Tanwar had issued a show cause notice to Professor Virender yesterday asking him to give his explanation within 3 days.

Meanwhile, the five member committee set up by the BJP to look into the Jat quota demand held its second meeting in New Delhi today. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was also present. The committee headed by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu took stock of the situation and discussed how to move forward in the matter. The committee will hold meeting with Haryana MPs tomorrow and legal experts in the coming days on the issue.
