Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that after the Pathankot terror attack, the Centre is reviewing its counter terror strategy.
While addressing the valedictory session of Counter Terrorism Conference in Jaipur today, he said, Government is now formulating an effective strategy which would help in preventing country from such terror attacks in future.
Mr. Singh said, we are fully equipeed and prepared to deal with cross border terrorism. The Minister said government is stepping up vigil at international border ensuring pool proof security.
He said, we are working on national security strategy aiming to achieve immense coordination between all the agencies.
He said, the government is fully equipped and prepared to deal with cross border terrorism. Mr Singh said India is ready to support Pakistan if it takes effective measures to combat terrorism.
Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Datuk Nur Jazlan said his country stands firm against any kind of terrorism in the name of religion.
He said his country’s policy against terrorism also includes de-radicalization programme to counter extremist ideas. Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh said terrorism is a threat to humanity and all concerned should work together to check it.
