Nitish Kumar will take oath as new Chief Minister of Bihar at 2 pm on November 20th at Gandhi maidan in Patna.
Earlier Mr. Kumar staked claim before Bihar governor Ramnath Kovind to form new government in the state.
The governor accepted his claim and invited Mr. Kumar to form government in the state.
Later talking to media outside Rajbhawan Nitish Kumar said MLAs of allies of grand alliance RJD, JD(U ) and Congress will be included in the cabinet.
Mr. Kumar promised rule of law with social justice will be established in the state. He told new government will fulfil aspirations of people of the state.
Mr. Kumar said all MLAs could not be made ministers. Mr. Kumar asked MLAs to work for betterment for people and stand up to their expectations. Nitish Kumar said the massive mandate has given big responsibility towards people of Bihar.
Earlier, Bihar Nitish Kumar has been unanimously elected as leader of Grand Alliance. This decision was taken in a joint meeting of constituents RJD, JD( U) and Congress in Patna Saturday afternoon.
Former Chief Minister Rabari Devi proposed the name of Nitish Kumar as leader and seconded by in charge of Bihar Congress affairs C . P. Joshi. Besides, State presidents of all three constituents of grand alliance JD(U) President Sharad Yadav and RJD President Lalu Prasad were also present in the meeting.
In another development, Bihar Congress has authorised today party President Sonia Gandhi to elect party leader in assembly. In this meeting Congress leader CP Joshi and State congress President Ashok Chaudhary were present.
