Around two lakh shiksha mitras in Uttar Pradesh,are boycotting their primary school teaching today.
This follows Allahabad High Court’s decision on Saturday quashing appointments of Shiksha Mitra as regular Assistant Teachers in all the primary schools of the state.

The state primary shiksha mitra association President Gazi Imam Ala claimed that functioning in the primary school all over the state has been affected due to the boycott.

He said, many schools are not open today demanding immediate action by the concerned authorities.

Meanwhile, reports are coming from different parts of the state that Shiksha Mitras are organising protest meetings at different places.
