Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Friday welcomed RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s recent remarks in support of the right of Gen Z to protest, urging him to convey the same message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP leadership.
Reacting to Bhagwat’s comments, Dipke said young people should not be labelled “anti-national” merely for raising genuine concerns or participating in protests.
“The most significant statement made by Mohan Bhagwat yesterday was that Gen Z should not be called anti-nationals. He stated that protesting is their right and their issues are genuine. I completely agree with this,” Dipke said in an interview with a news agency.
Bhagwat had made the remarks during an interaction with members of Gen Z and Gen Alpha at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. He said young people have the right to protest over genuine issues and should not be branded anti-national for doing so.
Dipke said the CJP fully supports students protesting in Jharkhand over alleged irregularities and paper leaks in state competitive recruitment examinations conducted under the JPSC-JSSC framework.
He urged the authorities to address the students’ grievances through a transparent investigation and ensure that legitimate demands are not dismissed or politicised.
