The Government has debunked a video circulating on social media that showed Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman promoting an investment platform promising easy monetary benefits. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has termed the video fake and AI-generated. The Unit added that the Government has not endorsed any such investment platform or scheme. The PIB urged the citizens to always verify such claims through official government sources.
