President Droupadi Murmu arrived at Hakimpet airport in Hyderabad today. The President arrived from Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, on the annual southern sojourn and left for Rashtrapti Nilayam at Bolarum in Secunderabad. The President’s office will function for the next 6 days from Rashtrapati Nilayam till the 22nd of this month.
The President will be inaugurating the National Conference for Chairpersons of Public Service Commissions of the state on the 19th of this month and attending a conference on Timeless Wisdom of Bharat – Pathways of Peace and Progress, organised by Brahma Kumaris at Gachibowli on the 20th of this month.
Telangana governor Jishnu Dev Varma, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister-in-waiting Anasuya Sitakka, State Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao DGP Shivadhar Reddy welcome the President at the airport. Several senior officials of the armed forces, among others, were also present.
