Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed confidence that his upcoming visit would lay the foundation for further enhancing economic co-operation with China in a wide range of sectors. In a series of tweets, Mr Modi said, his visit will strengthen stability, progress and prosperity in Asia. The Prime Minister said, he is looking forward to visit China from 14th to 16th of this month to boost friendship between two ancient civilizations and two largest developing nations.
Mr Modi said, he is eagerly awaiting for productive discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang. He said that he is feeling honoured that Chinese President Xi Jinping invited him to Xi’an in his home province and a land associated with Xuan Zang, who visited India. The Prime Minister said, he is also looking forward to meet the captains of industry in Shanghai and sharing the wonderful opportunities India has to offer.
Mr Modi said, he will visit Mongolia on 17th of this month to commemorate 60th year of the India-Mongolia diplomatic relations and the silver jubilee of Mongolia’s democracy. Terming Mongolia as the spiritual friend, Mr Modi said, democracy and Buddhism bind India with Mongolia. The Prime Minister said that he is looking forward to more trade and investment ties with Mongolia.
Mr Modi said, he is honoured to get the opportunity to address the Mongolian Parliament, the Great Khural. He also reassured India’s continued support in all areas to Mongolia. Mr Modi said, he will be visiting South Korea on 18th and 19th of this month. He said, South Korea is a very important pillar of India’s Act East Policy and he is looking forward to meet President Park Geun-hye. Mr Modi said, India is committed to maximising engagement with the Asia Pacific Region.
