At least 12 people died and 16 got injured after a roadways bus crashed into a mini truck in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras on Friday. The incident took place on National Highway 93. The passengers were on their way to Agra from Hathras. Those on the mini-truck were returning to the Sewala village.

President Droupadi Murmu has expressed grief over the loss of lives in a road accident in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. In a social media post, the President said that the news of the deaths of people in the road accident is extremely sad. She expressed condolences to the bereaved families who lost their loved ones. The President also wished speedy recovery of people injured.

He expressed condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in this accident. He hoped that the God will give them strength in this difficult time. The Prime Minister also wished speedy recovery to the people injured in the accident.

He said, under the supervision of the state government, the local administration is engaged in helping the victims in every possible way. Mr Modi has announced an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees from Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the next of kin of each deceased. The injured will be given 50 thousand rupees.
