The CBI informed the court that an 80,000-page charge sheet will be filed on April 2nd in the 2G case. The Enforcement Directorate told the court that the property of erring telecom companies would be attached immediately after filing of charge sheet for FEMA violations.
The ED also informed that Benami transactions took place while bringing of foreign money in telecom companies which were granted licenses during the tenure of Raja as telecom minister. The court was also informed that a joint team of CBI and the ED would be sent to certain foreign countries to track the trail of FDI in erring telecom companies involved in the 2G case.
